The Royal Society

This elegant John Nash-designed building in the heart of London is full of surprises – beautiful painted ceilings, the spectacular Venetian inspired Marble Hall, elegant wood panelling, and portraits of some of the world’s leading scientific lights, ancient and contemporary.

The Royal Society is the oldest scientific academy standing, and has played a part in some of the most significant discoveries in scientific history. As you would expect from such a learned society, the technical capabilities are bang up to date, and the Royal Society’s combination of flexible settings, stunning views and excellent technical support, make 6-9 Carlton House Terrace one of the capital’s most compelling venues.
