Success for Tessa in Champagne
Tuesday March 3rd 2009

We are thrilled to congratulate the talented Tessa Grounds on her success in winning a place on the inaugural Nick Tarayan Bursary Trip. This competition which was set up to encourage those with a love of and passion for wine is open to all front of house staff currently working in restaurants and catering companies. The 4 day educational trip, which takes place in April, will include private tours of leading Champagne and Burgundy producers, and the top student on the course will win the Nick Tarayan Bursary and the chance to study the Wine and Spirit Trust Education course.
Tessa, who manages our site at Lewis Silkin, won her place with an entertaining and well-informed essay on her passion for champagne. Read Tessa’s essay here
