H&J Signs New Talent
Tuesday February 3rd 2009

We are delighted to announce that we have recruited some exciting new team members to help develop our position in the concession market. Having this month opened our first public restaurant in St Paul’s Cathedral, we have brought on board a new Operations Director, Charlie Cook, to head up and develop the concessions side of the business. Charlie brings a wealth of experience to the role having previously worked for Leith’s where he was in charge of cultural venues and historic sites.
Another new recruit is Gary McKechnie who joins as Company chef, working alongside Kevin Schofield. Gary will be in charge of the fine dining and hospitality side of the business whilst Kevin will concentrate on the staff restaurants. Gary comes to H&J from ABN Amro where he was Executive chef for 4 years.
The final addition to this team is Brian Martin who has been appointed General Manager at St Paul’s Cathedral. Brian’s background of management roles at The Royal Academy of Arts, The British Library and The Law Society offers H&J great knowledge and understanding of public restaurants which will be a boost to us at this early stage of our diversification into the concessions business.
