H&J Launches Bag 4 Life

Being part of the catering industry throws up plenty of environmental challenges and one that is particularly tricky is the issue of disposables. Most of our units now use compostable plastic salad pots and cutlery and recycled paper napkins and paper plates where possible and we have also achieved a lot of success in persuading customers to bring their own mugs for coffee, by offering a discount to those that do. Our latest initiative is to launch the stylish and extremely useful H&J Bag 4 Life. Made from Fairtrade jute, this is large enough for a picnic, for carrying home paperwork or for bringing the veggies back from Borough Market. For the modest price of £2.95 our customers now have a credible and environmentally friendly alternative to plastic.
