Gordon Ramsay Drops In

We had an illustrious visitor at Chrysalis last week in the shape of Gordon Ramsay who was a guest on the Heart 106 Breakfast show. Part of the show was recorded in the kitchen as Rachael Hopper, standing in for Harriet Scott, cooked bacon and sausages for Gordon and Jamie Theakston. The resulting burnt offerings can be viewed on the Heart website as Gordon tries in vain to teach self-confessed microwave chef Rachael the finer points of frying bacon! Our very own Veronica, head chef at Chrysalis, can also be seen in the web cast although she wasn’t quite brave enough to step in and help Rachael out. I only hope she wasn’t too busy picking up tips from Gordon on how to keep her kitchen staff in order.
